"I was walking down the river Senegal, witnessing how the trash cumulated. Although clean shore was simply not the priority for Senegalese people, I
thought this material would be my source of inspiration.

I collected several plastic containers of different shapes. Then I soaked into liquid glue a piece of fabric bought in the tailor market, and covered the plastic containers with it. Once the fabric got dry, I took the containers off.

I finally went to a metal craftsman in order to make the structure.

My goal was to emphasize the trash in a different way. I made the Ghost lamp series."
